　　　　agree は状況によって後ろに続く単語が変わります。

　　　　＊Ｓ（主語）が、〔人と〕意見が一致する場合、
　　　　〔人の考え・意見・説明など〕に賛成の意を表す場合は

　　　　＊意見が一致して（その事を）決定する場合は
　　　　　　　agree on

　　　　＊意見が（賛成か反対かに）単に一致する場合は

　　　　＊Ｓ（主語）が（決定権があって）〔提案･要請などに〕

■　oil and water　　水と油である

　　　　「氷炭相容れず」のように、二者が背反しあったり、
　　　　そりが合わない状態を表します。
　　　　英語では、日本語の「水と油」の語順と逆になるのでご注意を。
　　　　
　　　　oil and vinegar　「油と酢」とも言います。
